SCF MANAGEMENT SERVICES

SCF Management Services established in January 1991 in Limassol Cyprus, is a Member of the SCF Group, one of the world’s largest shipping company.  SCF Management Services is responsible for all aspects of the SCF Group’s fleet, including operation and newbuilding project management and provides these services to other ship-owners.

Over 50% of SCF’s managed fleet is trading in polar waters. As an industry leader in Arctic shipping, SCF Management Services manages, amongst other vessels, the Christophe de Margerie, the world’s first Yamal icebreaking LNG Carrier. In December 2017 Christophe de Margerie loaded the first cargo of Yamal LNG at Sabetta, and by the end of 2018 this unique vessel had transported 5.7 million m3 of LNG for Yamal LNG.

A global environmental initiative by the SCF Group was the order of a series of six large-capacity tankers specially designed to use LNG as their primary fuel. These tankers were delivered between July 2018 and April 2019, with a further five tankers currently constructed.
