Mr. Stuart Neil

Stuart Neil is the Director of Strategy and Communications for the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) where he leads the communications activities of the ICS Secretariat based in London and supports the Secretary General and Board in delivering the organisations strategic agenda.

Stuart began his career in the British Foreign Service before moving to the private sector advising governments and international companies. Stuart spent 9 years as a Press Secretary to Queen Elizabeth II before moving to the energy sector. He was a Senior Director at the World Energy Council where he was the industries representative to the Clean Energy Ministerial, the APEC Energy Working Group and UN Sustainable Energy for All. Stuart also worked at the United Nations for the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for Sustainable Energy for All.
