Mark Friedman is a Senior Managing Director at Evercore, leading the firm’s Global Shipping practice and is co-head of the firm’s Global Transportation practice. Previously he was the US Head of Transportation and Infrastructure and Global Head of Shipping at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2005 to 2009. Prior to his time at Merrill Lynch, Mark was an investment banker at Goldman, Sachs & Co. for eleven years.
Mr. Friedman began his career as an Attorney at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP. He holds a J.D. with Honors from the New York University, and a B.S. in Economics with Highest Honors from Rutgers University.
