Mr. Bob Jaques

Robert (Bob) Jaques is an award-winning maritime business journalist with more than 25 years' experience of shipping, the last 15 as editor of Seatrade Maritime Review.

He has a Degree in English from the University of York, with a further postgraduate Diploma in Management from Birkbeck College, University of London.

His career began as a business journalist in Geneva, Switzerland, writing on the aerospace industry, later also covering telecommunications and media.

In the early 1990s he returned to the UK to join Seatrade, which is headquartered in Colchester and today forms part of Informa Markets.
