I was born 1955 and my career at sea began at the Deep Sea Fishery High School, which I graduated in 1975. 16 years I worked in deep-sea fishery. As a ship’s captain in 1993 I transferred to the merchant navy. 1993-2004 I worked in various companies as an officer. 2004-2021 I worked for Intership Navigation based in Limassol, Cyprus as first officer and from 2007 as ship’s captain. My experience at sea spans a period of 52 years in such industries as fishery and fish processing at sea, bulk carriers, multipurpose vessels, general cargo vessels, saltwater Great Lake vessels (Lakers) and cement carriers.
